The famous Texan tuner is primarily known for such projects as the 6×6 Goliath, the Maximus 1.000, the Corvette ZR1 HPE1000, and the like. Few remember that it did Jaguars, too.
As it stands, the company has had a performance kit called HPE600 for the Jaguar F-Type since 2014. It is compatible with all models produced in 2013 – 2020 and equipped with a supercharged 5.0-liter V8. The entry-level F-Type enjoys a power increase to around 610 hp (455 kW) and 810 Nm (600 lb-ft) of torque. The performance-oriented R and SVR versions benefit even more.
Included in the kit are a new drive belt, a high-performance air filter, and an extensive ECU upgrade. Tuned like this, the standard F-Type sprints in 3.2 seconds and covers a quarter of a mile in 11.4 s, accelerating to 200 km/h (124 mph) in the process.
