Jaguar presents a F-Type GT4 modification for the disabled

Special Vehicle Operations, a subdivision of Jaguar Land Rover, has brought forth a very special version of the F-Type GT4 race coupe. The vehicle will be manned by the Invictus Games Racing crew – a team of retired soldiers who sustained disabilities while serving in the military.

The car, which will take part in the next GT Championship in Great Britain, is based on the top-performance F-Type SVR chassis. Its hood compartment conceals a 5.0-liter V8 compressor engine. In order to comply with the current GT4 requirements, its yield had to be reduced to 400 from 575 horsepower. The car is also front-driven now.

The manufacturer stressed that there are no mass production plans associated with this latest vehicle, nor is it going to be used by the company’s own racing team.
