The JLR factory in Castle Bromwich has assembled the final Jaguar F-Type example ever, timing it to coincide with the discontinuation of the iconic E-Type roadster exactly 50 years ago.
The world’s last F-Type made rolled off the assembly line packing a V8 engine in a Giola Green body with a contrasting black roof and beige Windsor leather in the cabin. The choice of colors and materials is anything if not intentional, because it seamlessly matches the final E-Type.
The company has produced 87,731 such SUVs over the past 11 years. The final example will be heading to the Jaguar Museum, but JLR admits that there’s a considerable number of F-Types sitting in warehouses around the country right now. With any luck, they should all be sold out by the beginning of the next year.
