Jaguar has unveiled a new version of its I-Pace SUV. If you felt the 400-hp (298-kW) version was too much for you, you may now opt for a more affordable 320-hp (239-kW) spec.
Just like its big brother, the Jaguar I-Pace EV320 comes equipped with dual electric motors, but their output is reduced to 160 hp (120 kW) each from 200 hp (150 kW). The entry-level off-roader reaches 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.4 seconds, which is 1.6s more than the EV400 can do. Finally, it maxes out at 190 km/h (118 mph) instead of 200 km/h (124 km/h).
The traction battery stays the same at 90 kilowatt-hours of capacity, and so does the range (470 km / 292 miles).
The I-Pace EV320 can be obtained starting from just €65,900, a sizeable €15,900 discount from its senior version.
