Jaguar readies a minor update for the I-Pace

Judging by the trademark rights registration dated December 1, 2020, Jaguar will be refreshing the exterior of its first electric SUV ever so slightly.

The patent pics show what essentially looks like the old I-Pace except for a few minor changes in the rear fascia design. What’s more interesting is that it looks like the company applied for the facelift rights on January 24, 2019, but was only granted an approval now – nearly two years later.

The I-Pace received the Pivi Pro infotainment system earlier this year, along with dual modems, optimized navigation, improved 360-degree cameras, and an 11kW charger to replace the old 7kW one. The range was also extended thanks to software optimizations. This leads us to think that the next update will be relatively small in scale.
