JLR CEO says a major transformation is coming to Jaguar

The previously announced reboot of the Jaguar premium vehicle brand will be drastic, Jaguar Land Rover boss revealed to the media. Not only will the company get rid of all ICE cars in its portfolio in a few years, it will also ditch the all-electric SUV I-Pace as it keeps researching superior EV designs.

Sending the entire current lineup to the landfill of history should help the British marque build a new, better image for itself. The new portfolio will consist of three electric vehicles based on a purpose-designed platform called JEA (Jaguar Electrified Architecture).

The first model to debut will be a large GT-class saloon. It will be introduced in late 2024 and go on sale in 2025.
