Looking back at the Jaguar car lineup, one could say the company builds some of the coolest-looking vehicles out there (minus the admittedly terrible X-Type). Admittedly, this only makes the life of car tuners all around the world all the harder. Such vehicles should generally be modded carefully, with the ‘Do No Harm’ principle in mind.
Well, it looks like the owner of this particular Jaguar didn’t care much for the abovementioned principle. The result… you can see it before you.
Long story short, they fitted their Jaguar XK8 convertible with fin-like add-ons in the rear that just don’t go well (or at all, for that matter) with the noble British vehicle. To us, they look sourced from a 1959 Cadillac Eldorado, where they sported chromed tubular inserts with taillights tucked inside. But while they looked sort of okay on the vintage Cadillac, they are a complete no-go on the Jaguar.
Furthermore, a closer look at the photo reveals what looks like a potentially broken roof folding mechanism. If true, then the sports car isn’t even convertible anymore, which decidedly earns it a place among Really Bad Car Mods.
