When Worlds Collide: Jaguar XK150 becomes a woody wagon

Lovers of fast cars often say that motorsports and driving a wagon are incompatible, and that you cannot reconcile a family-friendly car body with track-worthy handling and acceleration. But then people have kids, and people do try to reconcile these things.

Back in the 1970s, Jeoffrey Stevens realized that he wanted to turn his opulent Jaguar XK150 Coupe (watch the video for a stock car example) into a practical ride for his entire family, which at that moment included his wife and a couple of dogs. He sawed off the rear and grafted the backside of a Morris Minor Traveller to it. The aesthetic aspect aside, he certainly did reach his stated goal of maximizing the interior space of the Jag while preserving most of its agility.

The car is currently up for grabs in a rather worn-looking condition. The question is, would you be willing to part with £44,995 for it?
