A 13-year-old Jaguar X-Type formerly owned by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will cross the auction block in late November. The seller has documents confirming the authenticity of the car along with unique photos depicting the late Queen sitting behind the steering wheel.
The car is fairly used with 116,750 kilometers (72,545 miles) under its belt. It was reportedly properly maintained at all times and is in good condition with no discernible defects on the body and cabin.
The car comes finished in a dark shade of green and utilizes a range-topping 3,0-liter V6 alongside automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The trim specification is also the highest available, with light-hued leather all around the cabin, a sunroof, a color infotainment display with satellite navigation support, climate control, cruise control, and Xenon headlights with wiper-washers.
Interestingly enough, the vehicle is heading to the sale with no reserve, meaning it will invariably be handed over to highest bidder. Media have commented that well-preserved Jaguar X-Type cars (see video) are hard to find these days, especially in a condition as good as this, and the ownership record could drive the price of this particular example into the stratosphere.
