Car manufacturer Jeep will introduce the audience of its 2019 Easter Jeep Safari show to as many as six SUV concepts, all of them based on the same Gladiator pickup chassis.
The Jeep Gladiator Wayout has a snorkel, 51 mm (2 inches) of extra ride height, 37-inch off-road tires that you can inflate from inside the cabin, an expandable box for a two-people tent, a tonneau cover, and a couple extra fuel canisters.
The Jeep Gladiator M-715 Five-Quarter retro truck looks styled after the American military trucks of the 1960s. It sports beadlock wheels clad in 40-inch rubber, an aluminum truck bed laid out with wood, spring-based suspension, and Dynatrac Pro-rock 60/ Dynatrac Pro-rock 80 axles.
The Jeep Gladiator Flatbill is a dedicated desert crawler, packing a purpose-built underbody, shorter bumpers for better maneuverability, 20-inch wheels covered with fat tires, Dynatrac Pro-Rock 60 axles, heavy-duty rear shocks with external chambers, and a carbon-fiber hood.
The Jeep Gladiator Gravity has a suspension lift, soft top, tubular doors, and skid plates. There is an equipment rack and a couple drawers in its truck bed.
The Jeep Gladiator JT Scrambler is somewhat similar to the same-name model based on the Jeep CJ-7, sporting the same body color, auxiliary lighting, and protective padding.
The two-seat version of the regular Gladiator goes by the name of Jeep Gladiator J6 and boasts an exterior design inspired by the 1978 Jeep Honcho, complete with the roof-mounted light bar, a heavy-duty bumper with a winch attached to it, and an elongated bed.
You will be able to see the six concepts in live action when the Easter Jeep Safari kicks off on April 13, 2019.
