Stellantis CEO has confirmed the company’s intention to launch an affordable electric car under Jeep branding that would retail for $25,000 or close.
According to unofficial sources, Stellantis plans to rebadge the European Citroen e-С3 (shown in the gallery here) for the North American market. It starts from €23,300 in France, which converts to almost exactly twenty-five grand at the current rates.
The production may be localized in Mexico for cost efficiency reasons. There has been no official confirmation so far.
