The North American car manufacturer Jeep will come to the Beijing Automotive Exhibition with an all-new, seven-seat, China-only SUV model named Grand Commander. There are pics and videos available online for those who want to see what the upcoming vehicle is going to look like.
According to a press release, the new Jeep Grand Commander will be made in three different trim levels to choose from. The base model is going to cost 239,900 Chinese Yuan and above. It will ship with a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with 234 or 265 hp, depending on the modification.
While there’s no official confirmation at this moment, car industry professionals seem to agree that the vehicle is going to get an optional all-wheel-drive.
It only takes a cursory glance at the exterior of the Jeep Grand Commander to see that it closely mimics its peer model – the Grand Cherokee – in practically every aspect, save for maybe the new radiator grille and headlights.
All further information will be disclosed at the 2018 Beijing Automotive Exhibition (otherwise known as the Auto China 2018) held on March 30 through April 4.
