Jeep Gladiator bolsters its off-road skills

One of the main reasons tuners like the Jeep Gladiator is its technical similarity to the Wrangler, which makes fitting it with high-end off-road components a much easier task.

The WAYALIFE team has primarily focused on the suspension of this Gladiator, retrofitting it with coilovers for improved absorption of larger impacts. The tuners have then tweaked the steering to be more convenient and responsive.

To safequard the Gladiator from becoming permanently stuck in mud or deep ruts, it gained humongous 40-inch Nitto tires wrapped around bronze-tinted wheels. Fitting the new wheels into the stock wells proved too much of a challenge, so the front wheel arches had to be cut much wider than standard.

Further additions included bumpers, a winch, and luggage racks on the roof and the bed. The drivetrain remained stock.
