The management of Jeep can’t quite wrap its mind around the idea of three-row SUVs, can it? Sure, there’s the recently announced Grand Wagoneer, but it is only one model – and only scheduled for 2022 launch, at that. Well, someone in the UAE apparently grew tired of waiting and built their own family off-roader.
The impressive vehicle may look like a brutally stretched Wrangler, but it is actually a Gladiator in disguise. The quality of execution is quite astonishing, the parts fit perfectly and look like something the car could have easily shipped with. The overlong rear doors are perhaps the only bit that stands out – Jeep vehicles tend to have smaller doors and side glass.
Inside, two captain’s seats occupy the middle row instead of the usual bench, and there are another two individual seats behind them. The legroom seems scarce and the elevation a bit too high, so taller people would probably be better off at the front. Then again, remembering that there was a Gladiator truck bed there prior to the redesign, the result is quite impressive.
