California-based niche automaker Rezvani Motors has shared some technical details about its Herculer super-pickup announced in June. The company had collected pre-orders starting from $266 USD and intended to launch the model in summer, but had to postpone those plans.
The latest teaser pic says we will be seeing the production car in a matter of weeks – and just some car, but the world’s most powerful pickup truck with the 6x6 wheel formula. We had seen quite a few extreme custom-built rides based on the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6 chassis before, so it remains to be seen how that claim holds up.
The Hercules might ship with the same 6.2-liter V8 as the Rezvani Tank X (see video), essentially a Dodge Challenger SRT Demon pushed beyond 1,000 hp (745 kW). It would also make sense for it not to be a fully original vehicle, but rather a conversion. While the company used the Jeep Wrangler as the starting point for its Tank X model, it may very well base the Hercules off the Gladiator.
