Despite being expensive – often exorbitantly so – six-wheel truck conversions are almost like a fashion trend nowadays. And, as you can see, California-based aftermarket shop Next Level is no stranger to fashion.
In addition to the mandatory extra axle, the pickup packs a stretched 8ft. (2.43m) truck bed, a stainless-steel bumper (optional), LED lighting and a winch. Fox shocks are used throughout, and the transmission boasts a revised gear ratio of 4.88 for optimum acceleration.
An important thing to note is that by default, the Next Level Gladiator is technically a 6x4 vehicle. Those who dislike the idea of a third axle being there just for show may request a custom 6x6 drive for a hefty premium. Of course, all pricing details are only disclosed to interested customers.
The team works with three main Gladiator versions: 2.0L four-cylinder with 273 PS (270 hp / 201 kW), six-cylinder with 289 PS (285 hp / 213 kW), and turbo diesel with 380 PS (375 hp / 280 kW) and 637 Nm (470 lb-ft) of torque. You can also opt for a cabin makeover that involves lots of Nappa leather with a unique pattern on the seats.
