Check out a six-wheel truck that claims to be ready for the end of the world

SoFlo Jeeps built the tri-axle Apocalypse Hellfire based on the Jeep Gladiator, making sure to upgrade the tech along with the visuals, and the result seems to have found a new owner on eBay earlier this week for $219,999.

The engineering crew had to extend the frame to add a third axle and revise the transmission to make it driven. As a result, the car has a 6x6 drive formula, although 4x6 is also possible, according to the tuner. Driving the wheels is a 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 rated no less than 761 PS (750 hp / 560 kW).

Further modifications included a lockable hardtop for the bed, Kevlar fenders, a special radiator grille and a custom front bumper with towing eyes and new headlamps. The latter are officially called “Oculus Tron” and are basically just LED stripes. Still, the seller claims only a few Apocalypse Hellfire trucks have this option installed (compare to another build by watching the video).

With 16 km (10 miles) under its belt, the pickup is virtually new. We are told the Hellfire starred in the movie “The Lost City” with Sandra Bullock, Brad Pitt, Channing Tatum and Daniel Radcliffe.  The movie still hasn’t premiered, though, and the seller avoids answering whether this particular car was filmed or another Hellfire.
