After stripping the Wrangler of its 3.0-liter diesel V6 rated at 264 PS (260 hp / 194 kW), Jeep has now done the same to the technically related Gladiator truck (see video). Those still interested in driving a diesel Gladiator have one final chance to buy it.
The last production batch is called Rubicon FarOut and comes with commemorative plaques and badging, stainless-steel bumpers, black wheels shod in 33-inch tires, red cabin accents and other cosmetic improvements like that.
Only 1,000 units will be made and sold from $70,000. The deliveries will start next month. Once the production is over, the Jeep Gladiator will be available exclusively with a 3.6-liter petrol V6.
