Half a year ago, Ferrada Wheels unveiled the Zaimiam, an extreme custom SUV project based on the Jeep Grand Cherokee. The car packed 1,000 horsepower (745 kilowatts) under the hood and rode on Ferrada’s own DC-FR4 forged wheels. However, the owner apparently grew bored of the upgrades and asked for something new.
The tuner began by upgrading the supercharger and the boost pressure, which resulted in a performance increase to an even more ludicrous 1,200 hp (895 kW). Needless to say, this necessitated overhauling the entire intake, cooling and exhaust systems, as well as reprogramming the ECUs.
The SUV still wears the same Tyrannos body kit by Renegade Design, but the front end has been reworked to allow for the greater appetites of the new air intake system. The DC-FR4 wheels have been ditched in favor for a crazily expensive Ferrada USF02 three-piece forged set, though.
