Jeep has already debuted the new Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer models, so it should only be a matter of time until the off-roading duo hits production. However, a new and different-looking prototype of the Grand version has recently been spotted in Colorado.
Strangely enough, the test vehicle wears a full body wrap that only leaves one thing on display, specifically a massive chrome radiator grille.
Just whether the car is a Wagoneer or Grand Wagoneer is another puzzle. Both sport plenty of chrome at their front fasciae, so you can only tell the difference thanks to a model name on the hood and a chrome detail on the lower grille. Neither can be discerned under the wrap on the photos provided.
This leaves us intrigued as to what kind of changes the Wagoneer duo might be going through post-reveal. Since shipments remain scheduled for this summer, however, we expect the mystery to be solved soon.
