This Jeep Grand Wagoneer may be old, but it packs 1,000+ PS

Vigilante 4x4 had its way with an elderly Jeep Grand Wagoneer, transplanting the original bodywork onto a new chassis and putting a V8 under the hood with an opportunity to upgrade up to 1,012 PS (1,000 hp / 745 kW). You may order one now, and ticking all boxes will cost you $335,000 USD.

The restorer used 3D scanning tech to study the body in small detail and fabricate a custom chassis for it with a stiff frame, Eibach springs and Fox shocks. These modifications improved handling and enabled the SUV to withstand much higher loads than before. Baer six-piston calipers were added to the front axle, and custom 17-inch wheels were produced for this restomod alone.

In the base spec, power is provided by a V8 Hemi taken from the latest Dodge Challenger, which normally pushes out 485 PS (478 hp / 357 kW). This version costs $295,000 USD. You may opt for a Hellcat mill capable of 717 PS (707 hp / 527 kW) for a premium of $15,000 USD.

Finally, going for the top spec nets you a Mopar Hellephant crate engine with around seven liters of displacement, the aforementioned 1,012 PS (1,000 hp / 745 kW) of power and 1,288 Nm (950 lb-ft) of torque.
