Tuner Militem has taken the wraps off its custom-built Jeep Renegade mini-SUV, dubbed ‘Hero’. The smallest off-roader of the American brand features a body kit, new suspension, a re-trimmed cabin, and a performance upgrade.
Exterior tweaks include new bumpers, radiator grille, hood, wheel arch extenders and huge 20-inch wheels (the Renegade ships with 16-inchers by default). 38 millimeters (1.5 inches) of added ground clearance should warrant some cross-country capacity.
The interior is opulent, with not just the seats, but also the doors, the center console and even the trunk area encased in fine leather.
Owners of the 1.3-liter gasoline version of the Renegade may ask Militem for an upgrade kit to 200 hp (150 kW), while those who opted for the 2.0-liter diesel may get a boost to 190 hp (142 kW).
Prices remain to be announced.
