Stellantis hosted a presentation titled ‘Dare Forward 2030’ this spring, dedicating a major spot to an upcoming subcompact crossover SUV. Judging by these fresh spy shots, the nameless car is closer to production than ever before.
The model shapes up to be the first fully electric Jeep and an important milestone in the marque’s electrification strategy. Media have taken to calling it ‘The Renegade’s small brother’, but it is actually a standalone EV with the rear end like that of the latest Compass model (see video).
It is official that the newcomer utilizes the same e-CMP architecture as the upcoming Opel, Citroen and Peugeot-badged compact EVs. By design, the chassis cannot be over 4.15 meters (162 inches) long. Any detailed specs will have to wait until the official announcement.
