Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has unveiled the updated Jeep Renegade mini-SUV series for Europe, complete with some optical polish and a new engine.
The newcomer sports restyled LED lights, bumpers and the radiator grille. Its rear lights contain X-shaped red diodes, Jeep’s lately established trademark feature.
We aren’t getting any information on the interior of the vehicle so far, but unconfirmed sources say the car will get an advanced infotainment system featuring an 8-inch touchscreen display (the current generation ships with smaller displays).
There is also going to be a new engine choice, a small 1.0L, 3-cyl. gasoline engine surprisingly capable of 120 hp (90 kW). The old 1.3L V4 turbo engines rated at 150 and 180 hp (112 and 134 kW, respectively) will still be available as well.
The refreshed Jeep Renegade will celebrate its premiere at the upcoming Turin Auto Show in Italy.
