Judging by the recent spy photos, the normal Jeep Wagoneer will be getting an even longer body version rivaling the likes of the Lincoln Navigator L and the Cadillac Escalade ESV. Have a look in our gallery.
The front clip seems standard, but a look from the side reveals larger rear doors and some added spacing between these doors and the wheels. The black photo in the gallery shows a stock Grand Wagoneer model for you to see for yourself and compare. As you can see, the larger model has a rear door that overlaps the wheel arch, while the test vehicle spotted on the road yesterday has a different design of that area.
Just like the front, the back looks unchanged from stock. If we had to guess, we would imagine that Jeep wanted to introduce an even longer variant of the standard Wagoneer with a stretched wheelbase, but no other modifications. The longer base alone should give second and third seat row occupants more legroom, so it makes good sense.
