Motul, a vehicle lubricant manufacturer and long-standing partner of the Dakar Rally, decided to celebrate that partnership by building a one-off Jeep Wagoneer suited for some of the worst off-road there is.
The SUV landed with a 90mm (3.5-inch) suspension lift, a set of sturdy Black Rhino wheels sized 18x8.5 inches large, and BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires. As one would expect, all factory liquids were drained to make room for Motul synthetic lubricants – engine oil, differential oil and so on.
To tell everyone it is a special ride, the Wagoneer wears a flashy Dakar-inspired racing livery and has a ladder at the back leading to a foldable hard-top roof tent. Things stay stock inside unless you count a mini-fridge, and we are unaware of any changes to the drivetrain.
