Jeep Wrangler gets turned into camper SUV

You may say that the Jeep Wrangler is one of the best cars for spending a weekend out in the wilderness. Apparently, the California-based car atelier American Fastbacks felt this wasn’t enough, because it turned a Wrangler into a motorhome.

The tuners have installed an electronically-operated tent for two on top of the vehicle, essentially turning it into an RV. Two more passengers can lie down in the car itself, owing to the back seats that can be unfolded into the trunk area.

Aside from the above, the Jeep Wrangler American Fastbacks Badlands has a mini-fridge, a gas stove with two burners and even a kitchen sink. Figuring out just how all of the above fits into the four-seat Jeep can be tricky.

The car also received around 60 mm (2.5”) of additional ground clearance, new wheels wrapped in 35-inch tires, reinforced bumpers and a winch. Compared to the stock Wrangler, the car sports a redesigned radiator grille, massive fenders, powered step boards and additional lighting.
