It is hardly a secret to anyone that most SUV owners are reluctant to use their cars the way they were originally meant to be used – that is, in real wilderness. Some make sure their ride stays in near-mint condition in case they ever feel like reselling it, while others bought it on a loan and do not want to destroy what amounts to bank property, at least on paper. Whichever your reason, you cannot help but feel at times that something has to be done about it. But what?
A curious solution is offered by Quadratec, an aftermarket company that has plenty of options and accessories in stock for Jeep models. Among other things, it sells thin guard panels that you can easily attach to your SUV because of their inner magnetic layer. The outer vinyl coating will do its best to provide protection from all sorts of dents, scratches etc.
The body armor is compatible with all Jeep Wranglers issued between 1996 and 2018. The JL version is not supported right now, but Quadratec will certainly add it to its supported list in the future.
