Just a few days ago, Jeep unveiled two special editions of its Wrangler SUV line, called the Black&Tan and the Willys (see gallery). Today, the company unexpectedly announced another addition to the range.
Starting in 2020, you will be able to order a four-door Jeep Wrangler in North America with a brand-new V-shaped, six-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine rated at 264 hp (197 kW) and 599 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque.
The only diesel-powered Wrangler currently on the market sells in Europe, and packs a relatively modest 2.2-liter engine with 200 hp (149 kW) at its disposal.
Prices are still pending.
