The Jeep Wrangler LJ just became even more wilderness-capable

Many stock Jeep Wrangler owners think (and are justified to do so) that their SUV hits the sweet spot as the perfect off-road vehicle, and modding it may break more than it will fix. This sounds especially true for the Jeep Wrangler LJ with its long wheelbase and massive Dana 44 rear axle. Despite everything, Las Vegas Rock Crawlers decided to give it a go.

The tuner team fitted the SUV with Fox shocks and a lift kit, swapped the tires out for the old-and-proven Toyo Open Country 40”, upgraded the aprons at both ends to be more impact- and scratch-resistant, and topped things off with a new, bloodthirsty-looking radiator grille.

The list of changes goes on to mention a Quadratec winch, power steering, and a quick-release hood cover.
