Jeep has posted a sentimental video dedicated to the part-electric version of its Wrangler SUV. We wouldn’t be surprised if the goal was to distract the audiences from the launch of the revived Ford Bronco.
The footage follows the off-roader as it traverses challenging terrain, and then the camera switches to horses grazing calmly in the background. No detailed description is provided, but the car sports the “4xe” model name affix, meaning it’s a plug-in hybrid. In the end, a caption appears saying that the Wrangler won’t disturb nature thanks to its low-noise powertrain.
The official specifications haven’t arrived yet. The leading guess is that the SUV will get a 3.6-liter petrol V6 paired with an electric motor located underneath.
