2014 Jeep Wrangler flexes off-road muscles with 450HP hitting the wheels

There are many car enthusiasts out there for whom the very notion of ‘off-roading vehicle’ is synonymous with ‘Jeep’. It is for one of these people that Bruiser Conversions built this custom Jeep Wrangler JK (2014MY), spending two years to turn it into a true king of the wilderness.

If you have seen previous Bruiser Conversions works, you will know what took so long. The SUV was swapped to a Chevrolet Corvette LS3 V8, and the mill was boosted to deliver 450 hp (336 kW) to the wheels. The suspension was completely overhauled and the transmission reinforced to cope with the load. The body received a stainless-steel frame and kit. Atlas 3.0 transfer case was used for precise per-wheel torque control.

The cabin received no less love than the rest of the car, with highlights including a modern Alpine infotainment system, a reversing camera and much, much more.

The owner ended up paying around U.S. $190,000 for his ultimate Wrangler.
