This Willys truck came out 65 years ago and was recently restored based on the 2014 Jeep Wrangler tech. Let’s see what’s so exciting about this specimen.
The bodywork stays more or less the same, but the modern Wrangler provides the door handles and the side mirrors. The hood and the side extensions are custom and made from scratch.
Powering the restomod is a supercharged 3.6-liter V6 paired up with a five-speed automatic transmission. The cabin has been completely overhauled, and the front fascia stems from the Wrangler as well. There is a suspension lift, a heavy-duty protection kit, automatic running boards and aftermarket wheels wrapped in meaty tires.
The current highest bid is U.S. $50,000.
