When most tuners think about upgrading the classical Jeep Wrangler, they naturally imply even more ground clearance and off-road capabilities. Chelsea Truck Company, on the contrary, bets it all on luxury and comfort.
The subdivision of Kahn Design has released quite a few posh SUVs over the years, including a Jeep Wrangler Black Hawk three years ago (see video). Its latest project called the Wrangler Volcanic Moss Black Hawk Edition may look different, but has the same overall direction.
A Volcanic Moss paintjob adorns the exterior along with flared fenders, a rather aggressively styled front, and an extra LED strip above the windshield for nighttime driving. 20-inch Satin Black wheels fill out the arches with elegance, wrapped in Cooper STT PRO tires, and the suspension is noticeably lifted. Exhaust tips contain Kahn Design’s trademark crosshair-shaped inserts.
A lively cabin offsets the dark and brooding exterior with orange leather upholstery, Chelsea Truck logos and a new removable roof section.
The price of the one-off vehicle remains undisclosed.
