Hardcore body-on-frame SUVs with permanent AWD are anything but abundant on the modern market, making the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon quite desirable among off-roading enthusiasts. U.S. tire manufacturer Cooper teamed up with German tuner delta 4×4 to introduce the world to an even more capable variety of the Rubicon.
The off-roader ended up with a set of Discoverer STT Pro P.O.R. all-terrain tires sized 35x12.5 inches at all four corners. These were put on custom delta4x4 Klassik B wheels. According to the tire manufacturer, their particularly high profile and sidewall reinforcements ensure a long service life even on heavily driven SUVs.
The wheels are also notable for their metallic discs screening the spokes from damage. In the worst case scenario, when such a disc becomes bent, you can swap it out for a new one in a matter of minutes.
Other notable upgraded include Bilstein shocks, a 50mm (2-inch) suspension lift and auxiliary lighting ideal for bad weather conditions and nighttime driving.
