Watch a Wrangler carry an orphaned dinosaur home in the latest Jeep ad

For nearly 20 years now, the Jurassic Park movie franchise has been miraculously reviving dinosaurs on the big screen. The story is set to end with the Jurassic World Dominion movie premiering on June 9, 2022, and there is a surprise for Jeep Wrangler fans in there.

The latest ad once again mixes dinos and Jeeps, but not in any kind of chase scene: the dino is inside the car this time around, picked by the driver after having seemingly lost its parents.

The driver takes the little carnotaurus home and raises it, playing with it happily and having fun. Of course, the ad would be incomplete without a grown-up dino mom cropping up unexpectedly and demanding her kid back.

The carnotaurus is believed to have been a dinosaur species in the late Cretaceous period (the so-called Chalk era). It has never been digitally reproduced before, Jeep claims.
