Getting ready for the Jeep 4xe Day scheduled for tomorrow, the U.S. automaker has released a video expressing its (heavily electrified) vision of the future.
The 15-second vid briefly flashes the latest 4xe Grand Cherokee and Wrangler, but it is another car altogether that grabs the attention. It has a backlit radiator grille with seven openings and looks like the prototype caught on camera not long ago (browse through our gallery for a closer look).
The manufacturer keeps silence about this new EV, while the video itself only manages to show its frontal cam and vaguely Wrangler 4xe-like outlines. But the brake lights are completely different.
It is official that the model comes based on the STLA Large platform, which implies boxy exterior design. Jeep praises the novelty as a highly capable off-roader in the description, but avoids specifics.
