Reports: Jeep Wrangler EV won’t be coming until 2027

The battery-electric implementation of the iconic Jeep Wrangler will not go on sale until at least 2027, Auto Express reports referencing its own sources.

In earlier statements, Jeep CEO confirmed that the development of the electric Wrangler had already begun. If we were to believe Auto Express and its sources, it could be five long years until the SUV finally reaches the market.

The Wrangler has been available in a PHEV version since 2020, and it has been the marque’s second best-selling vehicle since the Grand Cherokee. In all likelihood, the battery-electric variant will also find plenty of buyers, especially because the company promised to make it more powerful than the ICE top spec currently on sale.
