YouTuber Miniature Automobiles has posted a video comparison of five off-roader replicas – a Ford Bronco, a Jeep Wrangler, a Lada Niva, a Mercedes-Benz G-Class and a Suzuki Jimny.
The test involved the RC cars racing each other on bumpy roads, taking mud baths, wading through water and tackling tricky situations such as cross-axling. Both the cars themselves and the video look realistic enough to believe for a moment that the action is real. It’s a shame the technical specs were not announced.
There is no ignoring the sheer level of detail, either. For example, the Bronco and the G-Class both have detailed interiors, while the Niva is obviously an expedition trim level with a loaded roof rack. Austrian tuner Vagabund M sold such a Lada in Europe some time ago, complete with upgraded suspension and travel accessories.
