Jeep said it would participate in the annual obstacle & road summit Easter Safari held in Utah, U.S.A. on March 24th through April 1st, 2018. The company will enter the race with not just one, but two Jeep Wrangler vehicles modded by Mopar. One of these – titled the Jeepster – was revealed some time ago.
Even though the current-generation Jeep Wrangler is still a true body-on-frame SUV, it weighs almost 100 kg (220 lbs.) less than the previous model owing to a new aluminum body.
The base model comes equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged V4 engine good for 268 hp. Those who are into performance versions may opt for a senior modification with a 3.5-liter V6 on board, capable of up to 285 hp.
