Chinese automaker Kaiyi is getting ready to unveil a modernized version of its Xuanjie Pro SUV, also known as the X3 Pro (see video). According to AutoHome referencing images uploaded to the Chinese Ministry of Industry database, the biggest change is purely stylistic and concerns the front end.
The headlights stay the same, but the radiator grille and the bumper have been reworked. For instance, new vertical bars extending from the headlights have been added. The grille has stayed more or less the same shape, but received a new bezel and a fresh pattern. The brand logo has been made larger and lost its oval frame.
Things appear the same at the rear end. The spec sheet says the length has increased by 50 mm (2 inches) to 4,450 mm (183.8 inches), with the wheelbase at 2,632 mm (102.8 inches). A new two-tone paint scheme has been added along with special wheels.
On its domestic market, the Kaiyi Xuanjie Pro will continue to be available with a 1.5-liter engine producing 156 PS (154 hp / 115 kW) in tandem with a CVT.
