Karma Automotive has revealed an early concept version of its first crossover – the Ivara GT-UV. It is envisioned as either hybrid or completely electric.
On the outside, the vehicle follows the company’s latest design language known as Comet Line. Smooth lines, complex shapes, an unusual-looking concave hood and a wide windshield with downplayed a-pillars lend it a rather modern and sporty look. Glossy blue accents all around hint at an electric powertrain beneath.
Karma claims that owners will be able to leave asphalt roads behind with the Ivara GT-UV. Special undercarriage plating coated with a fine particular matter should keep it safe from minor impacts.
The premiere date and all other details are pending. Carscoops believes that $300,000 is a bare minimum that we should expect in terms of starting price.
