German coachbuilder Giacuzzo Fahrzeugdesign GmbH has released its own version of the Kia ProCeed GT. The compact shooting brake gained a few stylish aero parts, new wheels, and an exhaust system with adjustable soundtrack.
Giacuzzo’s GT rides on a set of in-house-designed 19-inch CD GTX-Line wheels wrapped in Falken FK510 rubber. The ride height is a marginal 20 mm (0.8 in) lower than stock.
You may easily tell the tuned-up ProCeed from the production vehicle thanks to a 30 mm (1.2 in) wider wheelbase, an added front spoiler, a rear diffuser, and a rear wing. Painted to match the body, the aftermarket parts actually succeed in looking genuine, i.e. like something the car had initially shipped with.
Rounding off the improvements is a valve-controlled exhaust system that lends your 2019 Kia ProCeed GT a unique and powerful soundtrack. The tuner claims it also squeezes an extra 8 hp / 6 kW out of the stock engine of the car (all versions). This sounds nice, but perhaps a full-fledged performance upgrade would have been even more desirable.
