South Korean car manufacturer Kia Motors has revealed the first teaser pic of its upcoming hatchback/SUV XCeed. The car shares the chassis with the regular Ceed, but still looks like a standalone model.
It has to be admitted, some of us have been misled into thinking the newcomer was essentially a lifted hatchback with plastic guards glued on throughout. As you can see for yourself, the car actually sports a brand-new body with no glass in the c-pillars. Its dimensions are also considerably different from those of the original Ceed. For instance, it is 4,390 mm (14.4 ft.) long instead of the hatchback’s 4,310 mm (14.1 ft.) and has 426 liters (15 cubic feet) of trunk space instead of just 395 l (14 cu.ft.).
The SUV will celebrate its live premiere on June 26, 2019, complete with detailed technical specs and availability information.
