The Indian branch of Kia has unveiled the Sonet Concept, a crossover vehicle that will soon be finalized and approved for production.
The Hyundai-based, sub-4m SUV sports an original radiator grille pattern, LED DRLs and LED brake lights with a connecting strip.
The cabin layout and tech obviously panders to the younger, more tech-savvy audience. There is a huge infotainment screen, SatNav and a premium-grade audio system. No images are being provided so far, but the manufacturer claims the interior will be ‘class-leading’.
Advanced tech includes UVO Connect, a telematics system that uses a SIM card to warn the car owner of any detected malfunctions and tells about other important things such as the current area, the mileage, etc.
Sales in India should begin closer to the summer of 2020.
