The South Korean company Kia announced about the nearest beginning of sales of new Niro crossover with the hybrid power plant. Now the car is already available for a preorder. The market price of crossover in its basic modification will constitute 22 890 dollars (about 1 360 000 rubles). The top variation of Touring will cost 29 650 dollars. It is noted that sales start only in the territory of the United States and Canada.
Under the hood there is a hybrid power plant, which generates power of 103 horsepowers. Average fuel consumption of four-wheel drive Niro is 4.7 liters per 100 kilometers.
The car is also equipped with a rearview camera, multimedia system with the 7-inch touch screen and support of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, electro window regulators, and also with a cruise control function and unique wheel rims of 16 inches. Car owners will find the Smart Key function, heating of a steering wheel and the panoramic hatch in the most expensive version of five crossovers. In addition, the top version will be equipped with a collision warning system with pedestrian recognition.
The premiere of Kia Niro was held in February, 2016 during Chicago Auto Show.
