The South Korean company KIA Motors designs now the new compact crossover for the home market. Work is conducted within the expansion of a model range of crossovers announced by a brand last year.
The car will be assembled on the base of the technological Kia Rio platform. Meanwhile the name of the model isn't disclosed (as well as its technical characteristics), however Kia recently registered the new Stonic trademark. There is a probability that the future compact SUV will be issued under this name.
It is supposed that new crossover will appear in a car market of South Korea till the end of this year. Later, the novelty will be introduced in Europe.
