A week ago we reported, that the South Korean company Kia announced about the beginning of sales of hybrid Niro SUV. Now it became known, that the model will also receive a completely electric variation. The electrocar is already underway and it will be available for sale in the nearest future.
The management of Kia will accept the final decision with regards to the terms and amounts of serial production of the electric version of the crossover after the analysis of data about the demand for hybrid model and a plug-in version.
As we reported earlier, hybrid Kia Niro crossover is equipped with the power aggregate with 1,6 liters in volume and capacity of 103 horsepowers. The electric motor in the hybrid power plant gives additional 44 h.p. Fuel consumption of the car makes 4.7 liters on 100 km. Kia Niro's debut took place at Chicago Auto Show in February 2016.
