KIA reveals Niro EV Concept, a full-electric crossover with style

The South Korean automotive giant KIA Motors Corporation has brought its latest battery-driven crossover prototype named Niro EV Concept to the ongoing CES-2018 in Las-Vegas, U.S.A.

Owing to an excellent effort on behalf of the exterior design team, the new environmentally-friendly car actually looks refreshing and quite different from its fossil fuel-powered counterpart. An interactive panel with the capacity to display useful real-time information is now located where the radiator grille used to be. The car sports nice restyled LED headlights, a sporty front bumper, and a completely redesigned rear.

The interior offers finishing that looks appropriately futuristic and minimalistic. A number of control elements have been moved from the fascia to the steering wheel. It goes without saying that even the base version of the KIA Niro EV Concept will be shipped with a fully-digital fascia and an infotainment system with a large touchscreen.

On the technical side, the new member of the Niro family will be driven by an electric engine with an output in excess of 200 hp. Its driving range is estimated at 400 kilometers.
