The south Korean car giant KIA Motors will come to the 2018 Paris Motor Show with a next-generation Ceed lineup featuring the Shooting Brake body design. The corresponding announcement was made by David Labrosse, a senior manager of the company.
The vehicle will be a series implementation of the Kia Proceed Concept, which debuted at the last year’s IAA Frankfurt in Germany.
Next to nothing is being revealed about the new Kia Ceed Shooting Brake at the moment. It seems logical, though, that the car should get a stronger engine palette than its hatchback and estate counterparts. Among other worthy entries, there could be a turbocharged 1.6-liter gasoline engine capable of approx. 200 hp (150 kW). We won’t know until we do, though.
